Most Interesting NFL Team in Each Conference
Who will be this year's biggest most interesting team going into the 2026 NFL season? Catch our latest thoughts on all things sports here at The Free Radical Press Every off-season we all have opinions on which NFL team made the most improvements, which team has the best chance to go worst to first but I'm going to pick what I think is the most interesting, not best, for each conference. With that being said this article could have been most interesting division, because the NFC East is going to be a fucking brawl this year. The Cowboys and the Commanders should be much improved next season with the moves made in free agency and getting healthy (in the Commanders case). The Eagles haven't made very many splashes and lost some key defensive players, but when you can draft and build a roster like they can you can afford to lose some players. With all that being said I chose to go with the New York Football Giants. The New York Giants made some major moves this off-season as they brought in former Ravens head coach John Harbaugh. After what has been a tumultuous 10-year span in which they have hired the likes of Ben McAdoo, Pat Shurmur, Joe Judge and Brian Daboll, Giants fans can finally rejoice in Harbaugh. They made a lot of good to great free agency signings in Isiah Likely, Tremaine Edwards, Darnell Mooney, Patrick Ricard and Greg Newsome II; combine this with the plethora of young talent throughout their roster, and the leadership of coach Harbaugh be prepared for this team to make some waves as the season progresses. I expect them to struggle like any young team will, but it's the narrative around the team and how they respond is what makes them the most interesting team. Will Harbaugh be able handle the pressure in New York and save its desperate fan base? In the AFC the clear choice are the Raiders. Al Davis has hired his 5th head coach since 2018 with the hiring of Klint Kubiak in February after he helped lead the Seattle Seahawks to a Super Bowl victory. The Raiders and the Ravens started free agency off to a hot start with a trade that would have sent EDGE Maxx Crosby to Baltimore, only for Baltimore to back out after Crosby failed a physical. This is a net positive in the end; with the moves they made in free agency specifically on the defensive side this will be a scary team for opposing offences to face. I also love what they have done on offense as well, the signing of Kirk is incredible, and picking up C Tyler Linderbaum will help solidify the middle of that line. Let's not forget we have the NFL Draft coming up later this month where it is expected that the Raiders will select Indiana QB Fernando Mendoza with the 1st overall pick. I was pretty high on the Raiders very early in the season last year and I'm willing to let them my break my heart again this year.
